The 2008 Strauss® Canada Cup Women's Champion is Team Lawton
Team Lawton defeated Team Scott 7-4 in 9 ends. As a result of winning Team Lawton receives $25,000and becomes part of the pool 16 women’s teams eligible for the 2009 Tim Hortons Canadian Curling Trials as well as a birth in 2008 Continental Cup in Camrose, Alberta, December 18-21. She also returns defending Canada Cup champions when the event moves to Yorkton, Saskatchewan next year, March 18-22.
