The Playoffs of the 2008 Strauss® Canada Cup are set.
On the men's side Team Martin defeated Team Stoughton 8-7 in an extra end and will play Team Simmons who defeated Team McEwen 8-6. The winner of the Tie-Breaker will play Team Howard in Page 2 vs 2 playoff. In the Page 1 vs 1 playoff Team Gushue plays Team Koe. The winner of the Page 1 vs 1 playoff moves on to the Final on Sunday March 2nd. The loser of the Page 1 vs 1 playoff will play the winner of the Page 2 vs 2 playoff on Saturday March 1st.
Things are a little less complicated on the Women's side. Team Bernard plays Team Lawton in the Page 1 vs 1 playoff. While Team Jones plays Team Scott in the Page 2 vs 2 playoff. The winner of the Page 1 vs 1 playoff moves on to the Final on Sunday March 2nd. The loser of the Page 1 vs 1 playoff will play the winner of the Page 2 vs 2 playoff on Saturday March 1st.
