CTRS and WCT Weekly Recap


Here is a recap of what happened this weekend:

Bob Ursel won the Labatt Crown of Curling. He defeated Steve Petryk 5-0 in 6 ends.
Brad Hannah won the Seattle Cash Spiel. He defeated Leon Romaniuk 5-2 in 7 ends.
Dave Elias won the Point Optical Curling. He defeated Randy Bryden 7-3 in 6 ends.
Mike McEwen won the Challenge Casino de Charlevoix. He defeated Serge Reid
8-4 in 7 ends.
Graham Shaw the Edinburgh International. He defeated Hammy McMillan 7-6 in an extra end.

Allison MacInnes won the Labatt Crown of Curling. She defeated Marla Mallett 8-2 in 7 ends.
Shannon Kleibrink won the Boundary Ford Curling Classic. She defeated Heather Nedohin 10-4 in 9 ends.
Chantelle Eberle won the Herbal Magic Cash Spiel. She defeated Michelle Englot 4-2.
Mirjam Ott won the International ZO Womens Tournament. She defeated Binia Feltscher 6-4 in 7 ends.

The 2010 Dominion Curling Club Championship - Alberta Womens Champions

Alberta (Dupont) defeated Saskatchewan (Gillies) 9-4 in 7 ends.

Alberta is: Nanette Dupont, (Skip), Lace Dupont (Vice), Shirley Kohuch  (Second) and Valerie Leahy (Lead) from the Lethbridge Curling Club.

The 2010 Dominion Curling Club Championship - Saskatchewan Mens Champions

Saskatchewan (Camm) defeated Ontario (Van Huyse) 6-5 in 8 ends. 

Saskatcehwan is Darren Camm (Skip), John Carlos (Vice), Mark Steckler (Second) and Michael Steckler (Lead) from the Sutherland Curling Club.

Mirjam Ott of Switzerland defeated Binia Feltscher of Switzerland 6-4 in 7 ends to win the International ZO Womens Tournament.

Shaw wins Edinburgh International


Graham Shaw of Scotland defeated Hammy McMillan of Scotland 7-6 in an extra end to win the Edinburgh International

The 2010 Dominion Curling Club Championship - Men Final

The Men Final at The Dominion Curling Club Championship is set:

Saskatchewan (Camm) plays Ontario (Van Huyse). 

In the Semi-Finals: 
Saskatchewan (Camm) defeated Manitoba (Irwin) 6-5 in 9 ends. While Ontario (Van Huyse) defeated Alberta (Leckie) 6-3 in 8 ends.

2010 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships
