BDO Curling Classic returns to Ontario
Mar 4, 2008 -- Oakville, Ontario -- BDO Dunwoody LLP and the Asham World Curling Tour are pleased to announce that the BDO Curling Classic will take place at the Oakville Curling Club from October 10-13, 2008
This year’s edition of the BDO Curling Classic is once again an Asham World Curling Tour sanctioned event open to 32 teams in a triple knockout format. Of those 32, eight teams will qualify at this event, competing for a purse of over $60,000 in prize money
Entry forms will be available online on both the World Curling Tour and Ontario Curling Tour websites
BDO Dunwoody LLP continues to be a leader in Curling Sponsorship in Canada. In additional to regional and local sponsorships, the BDO Classic Canadian Open is one of the four major stops in the Capital One Gland Slam of Curling.
Tournament co-chair Rick Chittley-Young of BDO Dunwoody is pleased to be a part of BDO and World Curling Tour’s winning tradition. “We’re excited for the BDO Curling Classic to make its way back to Southern Ontario,” he said. “We hope that this tournament will be the best yet.”
