The Semi-Finals of the Masters of Curling sponsored by Capital One® have been set:

In one Semi-Final Kerry Burtnyk plays Kevin Koe. Kerry Burtnyk defeated Martin Ferland 9 -3 while Kevin Koe defeated Randy Ferbey 8 - 1.

In the other Semi-Final Glenn Howard plays Wayne Middaugh. Glenn Howard defeated Kevin Martin 4 - 3 while Wayne Middaugh defeated Pat Simmons 5 - 4.

The Semi-Finals can be seen at 3:00 pm on CBC. The Finals can be seen on Sunday, January 27th at 3:00 pm on CBC.

The Masters of Curling - Day 3

After the third day of the Masters of Curling sponsored by Capital One®. Glenn Howard finished atop Group A with a 4 - 1 record. In Group A Brad Gushue and Martin Ferland finished with a 3 - 2 record and have to play a tie breaker to determine who moves on to the quarter - finals. Wayne Middaugh and Randy Ferbey finished atop Group B with a 4 - 1 record and Kerry Burtnyk finished atop Group C with a 5 - 0 record.

The Masters of Curling - Team Changes

There have been a couple of changes at the Masters of Curling sponsored by Capital One®. Martin Ferland has replaced Mark Johnson's team. The Johnson team was unable to curl due to an illness to its skip and a death of a family friend of their second Glen Kennedy .

John Base is throwing fourth rocks for Peter Corner as Corner, a police officer, is unable to attend to work commitments. John Epping was added to the team and throws third.
