2014 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships - Group A Men's Playoffs are set

The playoffs for the Men in Group A at the 2014 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships are set:

Placement Game - Thursday, November 27
Germany (Baumann) vs. Scotland (Edwards). The winner qualifies for World Championships and the loser is to play in World Challenge Games. The World Challenge Games are held between the eighth-ranked team in the Group A round robin and the winner of the Group B tournament to determine which of these two teams will play at the World Championships.

Tiebreaker - Thursday, November 27
Czech Republic (Snítil) vs. Norway (Ulsrud). The winner advances to the 3vs4 Page Playoff. The loser is out.

Page Playoffs
1vs2 Sweden (Edin) vs. Italy (Mosaner). The winner advances to the Gold Medal Game. The loser advances to the Semifinal.

3vs4 Switzerland (Michel) vs. the winner of the Tiebreaker. The winner advances to the Semifinal. The loser advances to the Bronze Medal Game.

Semifinal - Friday, November 28

The loser of the 1vs2 Page Playoff vs. the winner of the 3vs4 Page Playoff. The winner advances to the Gold Medal Game. The loser advances to the Bronze Medal Game.
