Murdoch Takes Gold over Gushue in Russia

David Murdoch of Scotland defeated Brad Gushue of Canada 6 - 3 in the first ever World Curling Tour Europe event in Russia. The other skips who took part were Thomas Ulsrud, Andreas 'Andy' Kapp, Pål Trulsen. There were also three skips from Russia: Andrey Drozdov, Igor Minin and Valentin Demenkov.
